Ulaanbaatar-Nation’s Capital
A professional Juulchin World Tours team will meet you at the “Chinggis Khan” international airport. We start our touring day from the Gandan Monastery-a heart of Mongolian yellow head Buddhism. We will experience the sense of Buddhism in Mongolia and see the outstanding and impressive 24m golden plated statue of Buddha; Megjid Janraiseg. This monastery is the largest and most important monastery of Mongolia with 500 monks. Then we head to the Bogd Khaan Palace Museum, the palace known as the Green Palace. Then we visit Fine Art Museum of Zanabazar, we enjoy works of Mongolia's
famous artists, and sculptors who lived before or in the early 20th century.

("Five Gods" and "Taras"), as well as appliqués and sculptures in wood and
stone by talented Mongolian craftsmen are among the 10 thousand exhibits of
the museum. 25 of the 45 most precious works of art created by Mongolia's
artists can be found in the museum. We catch a late afternoon flight to South
Gobi. Overnight in the ger camp.
Gobi Gurvan Saikhan National Park.
In the early morning, we visit the majestic Gobi Gurvan Saikhan National Park where we will enjoy incredible “Yol Valley”. The valley is the unusual narrow canyon of a river that flows through the Zuun Saikhan Mountain. The sheer rock walls stand 200m and the canyon has stunning green meadows with thick glacier layer. We can trek along the canyon and may have an opportunity to see rarely found wild sheep Argali. Then we drive to the Khoolt village where we will meet our camels and local team. Gobi Gurvan Saikhan NP
We have a challenging adventure throughout day. We ride a camel in the morning to the direction of west in the park area. Then we continue trekking to our next spot. On the way, we observe the wildlife and arid landscape. Overnight in the tent.
Gobi Gurvan Saikhan NP
After an open air breakfast, we continue our camel ride and trek between the Gurvan Saikhan Mountain. On the way, we have an opportunity to visit camel breeder’s family and experience everyday life of steppe nomads. Overnight in the tent.
Khongoriin Els sand dunes.
We ride to the Khongoriin Els sand dunes. Khongoriin Els dunes that stretch for an extraordinary 180 kms, sometimes as wide as 7-20km. The dunes lie on the northern part of beautifully formed mountain range Servei and Zuulun. The sound of masses of wind-blown sand can be heard from the long distance. This sound is so melodic so 200m high sand dunes called as “Singing Dunes” or “Sand that sings”. There is an oasis called Khongor river with stunning greenery in the summer. Overnight at the ger camp.
Arts Bogd Mountain/Uvurkhangai.
We drive to the direction of north; a mountain called Arts Bogd. This magnificent looking mountain has a fantastic wild life and landscape. On the way we witness semi arid and nowhere to be found land of nomads. Overnight in the tent.
Guchin Us/Uvurkhangai.
After open air breakfast, we start heading to the Guchin Us village. We have a half day challenging trek through the open land called steppe. We experience the wilderness and local camel breeder’s everyday life. Overnight in the tent.
Arvaikheer – the province capital.
We continue our adventure to the Arvaikheer the province capital. The name means “barley steppe” and the city is located in the front range of Khangai Mountain. We visit Gandan Muntsaglan Khiid, a small temple complex located in the north of city and local museum with many fossils, stuffed animals and about a thousands years of man made artifacts. Overnight in the tent.
Orkhon valley
We start to discover a land of Mongolian ancient khans and aristocrats: Orkhon river and its valley, the valley contains mystery of Mongolian history. The interesting and essential historical events were happened here through the many centuries. On the way we see pleasing Khangai mountain scenery with lots of gorgeous Alpine wild flowers and pine tree forests. Overnight in the tent.
Orkhon Waterfall.
Today is a day explore picturesque Orkhon Waterfall which is situated in the Orkhon river, that flows 1120km; the longest river in Mongolia. The local name of the waterfall is Ulaan Tsutgalan and the height is 24m, waterfall was formed by a unique combination of volcanic eruptions and earthquakes about 20 000 years ago. The water level of the waterfall depends on the rainfall. Hiking opportunities to the bottom of the gorge. Overnight in the tent.
Bayangobi.
After an early morning breakfast, we drive to Kharkhorin; an ancient Capital of Great Mongolian Empire and main treasure of Mongolian Buddhism, Erdenezuu Monastery. Kharkhorin was established in the valley of Orkhon river in 1220. It was one of the stop points of legendary Silk Road for 140 years. Kharkhorin played significant role in Mongolian history and was a capital city of Mongolian Great Empire. We witness the almost 800 years old worshipping Turtle Rock near the temple. Erdenezuu Monastery – the first Buddhist monastery was founded by Avtai Sain Khaan, descendant of Chinggis Khaan, on the ruins of Kharkhorin in 1586. The monastery is surrounded by beautiful looking white walls with 108 stupas. For centuries it was a spiritual and intellectual centre of Mongolia. In the late afternoon we drive to Bayangobi and overnight in the ger camp.
Bayangobi
Bayangobi is an unique place with many different forms of natural landscape; combination of a Gobi sand dunes, forests and rocky mountains. In the afternoon we visit Erdene Khambyn Khuree which is 20 kms drive from the camp. The monastery is located in the magic looking Khugnu Khaan Mountain. Enlightened Bogd Gegeen Zanabazar, a religious leader, philosopher, artist and sculptor was founded these Uvgun and Zaluu temples for his religious teacher. We arrive in Ulaanbaatar and transfer to the hotel. In the evening we see fascinating performance of traditional folk songs, throat singing, beautiful melody of horse-headed fiddle, ethnic dances and arty contortion. Farewell dinner and peaceful overnight in the hotel.
